Renewable Energy to Complement Tanzania Industrialisation by 2025

Tanzania, a beautiful country in the Eastern Part of Africa celebrates National Renewable Energy Day every year on the 29th and 30th of November. This year as it has been for several years, it was hosted by Tanzania Renewable Energy Association (TAREA) with partners. wary of the appointment of Enoch Godongwana as Chairperson of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) Board.

Enoch Godongwana, the head of the ANC’s sub-committee on economic transformation has been appointed board chairperson of the DBSA. This is an appointment that is cautious about given the Mr Godongwana utterances on forcing South African banks to invest in new coal coal-fired power stations – a position that condemns in the strongest terms.

350 G-ROC leading the way for solutions work in Africa

Late August 2019, Africa team held a 3-day strategic workshop with members of 350 GROC aiming at reviewing the campaign’s achievements so far, getting a fair sense of challenges and opportunities and updating the campaign plans and calendar for the upcoming year. A session on storytelling and digital campaigning was also held during that workshop.
