A group of us hiked the Whale Trail along the Southern Coast of South Africa during the season when whales are abundant. It is 55 kms long and takes five days and we walked from 21 to 26 September with a special commemoration of Moving Planet on 24 September. What better way to celebrate carbon friendly movement and nature than hiking in one of the worlds most important nursery areas for Southern Right Whales.
