Together with WWF South Africa we scripted and released a radio drama about the importance of water, the effect climate change is having on water availability, and how people can respond. It was a 4 part series, aired in isiXhosa on Zibonele FM, a community radio station in Cape Town.
On the 11th of December 2018, a group of activists gathered outside the Westin Hotel in Cape Town to call on the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) to continue their work supporting renewable energy and commit to not fund the Thabametsi coal power plant.
On September 8th, communities around the world will mobilise to end the age of fossil fuels. People will be on the streets on every continent, right before local and regional leaders gather in California for the Global Climate Action Summit – the largest climate gathering of local and regional governments ever.
