The first climate ambassadors training took place in Blantyre on Wednesday, 30th April. Harvey Chimaliro, team member of GPS Malawi team had reported the excitement and interest amongst participants following the discussions!

The training involves equipping participants with different skills sets so they can take action promoting solution based outcomes within the communities and to government. This training is part of a series of trainings planned country wide in three regions (south in Blantyre, Centre in Lilongwe and North in Mzuzu). 

The next 2 training sessions take place on the 10th May in Lilongwe and 17th May in Mzuzu.

After the trainings, there are going to be 2 public rallies on the 6th June in both Blantyre and Lilongwe.
