Lekki Nigeria: Go Solar, turn off the light, Save Money!

Rally, walk and sensitization campaign thrilled the participant’s
reality as we shared our fliers and insisted that people must accept our FREE
Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL). No fewer that 30 people attended and
the procession started from the new Lekki Toll plaza down to the newly
opened SPARS shopping mall in the heart of Lekki Phase1.

‘When we change to a more energy efficient bulb, we save money and also
protect our environment’ said FemiOye, the organizer.

Not only is solar clean and more cost effective, Solar Panels also
help to reduce the rate at which we pollute our environment.
Throughout the Lekki go green campaign, we taught our friends
the importance of solar energy and we also answered a lot of their
questions.
