Candles on the steps of Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban spelt out 350 as Climate Impacts Day drew to a close, sending the message: We must cut CO2 in the air from its current level of over 392ppm to 350ppm. The event, which took place at the People’s Park, was organised by 350.org Durban and supported by Greenpeace Africa’s Durban Volunteers, Amnesty International, the ‘Green Felt Hearts Poetry Arts Experience’ and WESSA KZN.
