As you’ve probably noticed, many people are still not making the connection between the poisoning of our atmosphere by fossil fuels, the resulting changes in our climate, and the greater number of droughts, floods and other natural disasters. So the 5th of May is a ‘wake up’ day to our communities, local leaders and the world to the reality of climate change and how it is hurting people and places we care about.

If your community has suffered from a disaster that was caused or made worse by climate change, gather with friends and neighbours to organise a simple, creative event for 5th May to help people connect the dots.

Or if your area has not yet been badly affected by climate change, there are many ways you can show your concern and solidarity with those on the front lines of the climate crisis. Join the day or feel free to contact one of our team.
